The Employability Support Project of Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) seeks to curb the problem of unemployment in Lagos state by increasing the pool of skilled manpower in the state by putting young Lagosian through vocational training programme in order to improve their chances of getting a job. The Vocational trainings are sponsored by the Lagos state government in partnership with various organizations.
Industry relevant skills will be provided in trades that cut across key sectors of the economy. The Employability Support Project presents a good opportunity for unemployed youths in Lagos State to empower themselves, start a career in their chosen field and drastically improve their prospects at securing jobs. The programme also aims to place successful trainees in jobs after training has been completed.
The project is managed by LSETF and relevant partners, while the training sessions are administered through a large network of competent and certified Vocational Training Centres.
USADF Project
The employability partnership with the United States African Development Programme (USADF) is targeted at equipping Lagos residents, between the ages of 18-35years with industry relevant skills, annually, for a period of five years. The project will achieve this through the provision of skills development training that will last between 4-12 weeks, and will ensure the placement of a minimum of 50% of the beneficiaries in Internships/jobs.

Must be a Lagos resident Must have a Lagos State Resident Registration Agency ID (LASRRA ID – can be gotten at any LGA office) Must have a minimum of JSSCE qualification.
