Sunday Igboho Debunks Invasion Of Soka Residence By Nigerian Army

Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo better known Sunday Igboho has debunked a widely circulated report that some officers of the Nigerian Army invaded his residence on Monday morning at Soka in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Reacting to the incident through his media aide, Prince Adetunji Fabode said it is true gunmen attacked his principal. He however dismissed media reports making the rounds that it was military personnel that did the attack.

He said the incident happened around 1:00 am on Monday, noting that nobody was hurt in the attack.

“Gunmen came in numbers fired sporadic gunshots into the air to gain entrance, but the security men on ground secured the building.

“There are some media reports claiming it was military personnel that attacked the building. It was not the military,” Fabode said.
