Ogun Monarch Reacts To Alleged Romance Scam, Threatens Legal Action

A monarch in Ogun State, Oba Adetokunbo Tejuosho, the Olu Of Orile Kemta, has debunked some recent reports linking him with a romance scam and forgery case.

Some online news mediums (not Tribune Online) in their news report had claimed that the monarch was allegedly accused of a romance scam and multiple forgery.

Speaking in an interview with Tribune Online, the monarch said the news report was false, adding that what happened was just a family affair.

Oba Tejuosho also noted that the spread of the fake news was sponsored by those aiming at damaging his character.

He added that he and the queen, Olori Halimat Oniru Tejuoso, had settled the rift between them.

He said, “I and my lovely wife, Olori Halimat Oniru had a quarrel over certain family issues which is normal between a husband and a wife and we have resolved it. But while the disagreement lasted, my enemies and distractors infiltrated into my family affairs and tried to use her to cause damage to my character and personality by putting together frivolous accusations against me and also publishing fake stories in the social media.”

The Ogun monarch threatened to take legal action against the publishers of the report.
