28 Abducted Bethel Students Regain Freedom

Twenty eight abducted students of Bethel Baptist school, Kaduna State have been released by bandits.

Confirming their released to newsmen in Kaduna, the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna chapter, Reverend Joseph Hayab, said the freed 28 students would be reunited with their family members at the school premises later today.

He said few of the students have escaped from the kidnappers den, while 80 are still with the kidnappers.

According to him, “We are hopeful that more would be released soon and eventually all the students.”

He thanked Nigerians for their prayers, moral and physical support, urging all to sustain the spirit till everyone in captivity regains their freedom.

Recall that the 121 students were abducted twenty days ago at the school premises.
