Fedpoffa Rector Congratulates Alumni Association Over Appointment of Member by Tech Giant, Microsoft

Rector of The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria, Dr Lateef Ademola Olatunji has congratulated the Alumni Association of the Polytechnic on the appointment of one of its members, Mrs Olatomiwa Williams as Nigeria’s country Manager for Microsoft.

Dr. Olatunji in his goodwill message commended the worthwhile exploration of Mrs Williams to be considered worthy of managing Microsoft company in Nigeria. He equally acknowledged her patriotism and allegiance to be associated with the institution.

Speaking further, the Rector reiterates on the fact that The Federal Polytechnic Offa remains the fastest growing Polytechnic in Nigeria producing students that are worthy in both character and learning.

He said the Polytechnic has produced graduates of high caliber who are making waves in the country and all over the world, and giving back to their Alma Mata through Alumni Association.

He said ” Our institution, The Federal Polytechnic Offa ranked by JAMB as the most sought after Polytechnic, remains the fastest growing Polytechnic in Nigeria and Africa Sub-sahara producing quality graduates that are worthy in character and learning. Recently, two of our graduates bagged Presidential Honour, automatic employment and cash reward for their outstanding performance during the NYSC service. We are always at fore front of good tidings and astounding revelations.”

The Rector however acknowledged the current leadership of the Alumni Association led by Dr Ayo Adeyemi. He commended the successes recorded so far by the association and charged them to continue to put the best of their ability for the continuous growth and development of their Alma Mata.

Mrs Olatomiwa Williams is a Federal Polytechnic Offa graduate of Computer Science and has a Master in Business Administration from University of Liverpool.

She joined Microsoft in year 2010 as the Enterprise Voice Technology Specialist. She has also held various positions including Partner Technology Manager, Dynamics Partner Sales Executives as well as Account Technology Strategist.

She has over 21 years Information Technology Experience which spans through Solution Implementation, Solution Sales and Channels Management.
