Students React, As Fiery Graduating Student of LASU Reportedly Shot Dead at School Gate

A fiery graduating student of Lagos State University, LASU, Comrade Nurudeen Alowonle, popularly known as ‘Omomewa’ was reportedly shot dead at the school gate on Thursday.

Reports from closed friends of the deceased have it that, the Comrade was in the main campus of the institution based on his invitation to answer some questions from the school panel which according to report from students and colleagues of the Varsity is not his first time to honor such invitation.

Omomewa as fondly called by his admirers was said to be a pro students activist during his days in the Lagos owned institution, his stance on the rights of teeming LASU students might be the reason for his ‘endless’ encounter with the institution’s management.

The student activist was said to have graduated from the institution in 2019.

The management is yet to react to the tragic incident which has left some students curious about the circumstances that surround his death.
