Varsity Expels 3 Postgraduate Students Over Exam Malpractices

Authorities of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, have expelled three post graduates students for engaging in various forms of examination malpractices.

Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University, Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele disclosed the disciplinary action taken against the students involved in examination malpractices by the management of the institution in a post on his official Facebook account.

The affected students are: Benjamin Amaechi Onu – (MSc candidate in Sociology), Vicar Efebo – (PhD candidate – Faculty of Busines Studies and Wagbara Faith Ekuetosi – (PhD candidate – Faculty of Business Studies).

He further said that ‘their matters have been referred to the Students Disciplinary Committee to determine their fate and the Department of State Services for profiling.

“Meanwhile, their names have been sent to DSS for profiling. Please stay out of trouble”, Ndimele stated in a Facebook post.
