Recruitment: Police Give Updates For Successfully Screened Applicants

The Department of Training and Development of the Nigeria Police Force has announced the continuation of the 2020 recruitment exercise, saying that all applicants who have been screened successfully for the recruitment exercise last year 2020 should proceed to the next stage of the recruitment exercise.

Such candidates are advised to check the police recruitment site for status and exam schedules.

The Police Public Relations Officer( PPRO) of Niger State Police Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun stated that as part of the activities to conclude the year 2020 recruitment exercise, a Computer Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled for the successful candidates to be conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

According to him, the Computer Based Test (CBT) exercise is scheduled to take place between Friday 29 and Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Gidan-Kwano Minna by 8:00 am prompt.

This process would go on across the 36 states of the nation at the same time.

“In addition, candidates are required to appear in a clean white T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas. They are to equally come along with the printout of examination slip from their various e-mail accounts,” the statement added.

The statement however stated that the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas, has warned candidates to conduct themselves in an orderly manner before, during and after the examination, stressing, that “adequate security measures has been put in place towards ensuring a hitch-free exercise”.
