Just In: EFCC Reportedly Releases Obi Cubana

Socialite cum business mogul, Obi Cubana has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The news about his release was shared by his colleague and friend, Instigator PH via his Instagram page.

He wrote: “Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! . Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all.”

He also shared a post that reads: “Breakinh Newz. Obi Cubana is free. Confirmed by me, only 1 instigator. Give away loading.”

The socialite on his part recently made a post on his Instagram page after what seem like an unusual break.

He posted with a caption that reads “Okpataozueora! I love you ALL!”

Recall that Cubana was held and interrogated by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials on Monday, November 1.

There was no confirmation on the allegations against him but it was learnt he was being quizzed on alleged money laundering and tax evasion.

Meanwhile, before his release, his wife, Mrs. Iyiegbu, has opened up about her husband’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Reacting to the incident on her Instagram page, Mrs Iyiegbu described her husband as a hard-working and resilient man.

While pledging support for her husband, the entrepreneur said Jesus went through worse and prayed that God will turn everything around for his good.

Alongside a picture of him, she wrote: ”He is STRONG. He is RESILIENT.

”He is a HARD WORKER. He is a LEADER… and He is GREAT!

”I call him Nwachinemelu! Okpataozueora worldwide. Oji uno eme ogo.

“A man with a heart of Diamond. Nwoke ike! Odogwu m! We love you and we are solidly behind you. Even Jesus went through something worse than this so no stress”.

“The grace is overwhelming and it’s overflowing. God himself raised you. Again, I repeat…”Whom God has blessed, no man can curse” because he’s gonna turn everything around (the good, the bad and the ugly) for your good.”

The anti-graft agency is yet to speak on his release as of press time.
