Gunmen Kidnap Ilorin District Head On Way To Farm

Some suspected gunmen believed to be Kidnappers have kidnapped a district head, Mogaji Erubu in Ilorin Emirate of Kwara State, Dr Zubair Folorunsho Erubu.

Erubu, a retired permanent secretary in the state civil service and former Chief Medical Officer at the state Government House clinic was reported to have been abducted on his way to his farm between Ilorin and Afon in Asa local government area of the state, on Thursday.

A statement by the spoken of the State Police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, said the commissioner of police, Tuesday Assayomo, had ordered discreet investigation of the incident, the rescue of the victim and the arrest of the suspected kidnappers.
