What President Buhari Should Do To End Strike Within Two Days – ASUU President, Osodeke (Video)

The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke has told President Muhammadu Buhari to tow the path of the Ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan to resolve the impasse between the government and the union.

Osodeke stated this on Wednesday while featuring on a Television programme, Focus Nigeria, adding that, grey areas can be trashed out within two days, if President Buhari actively participate in the meeting or delegate some patriotic representatives who are passionate about development in the decaying education sector.

The ASUU President further stated that, during the tenure of the former president Jonathan, the union had 14-hour meeting with the government representatives and within the time the meeting was held both parties reached logical conclusion and the strike was suspended as a result of the willingness of the then government to return helpless Nigerian Students to their respective campuses.
