UNILORIN Final Year Student Receives Brand New Car From Kwara Governor (Photos)

A 400-level student of Arts Education in the Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Rofiat Abdulazeez been rewarded with a brand new car during the Kwara State End of the Year Merit Awards Ceremony.

Abdulaziz, who is a student athlete received ‘Most Outstanding Athlete award from Kwara’ category.

The awards were given out by the state administration, chaired by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to recognize remarkable Kwarans who have done the state proud in many sectors of life over the years.

Squash player Ms Abdulazeez earned three gold medals for Team Kwara at the recently ended National Sport Festival in Asaba, Delta State.

In March this year, she won two gold, one silver and one bronze for Team Unilorin at the 26th edition of Nigerian Universities Games (NUGA) hosted by the University of Lagos, UNILAG .

Team UNILORIN emerged 4th best out of 73 Universities listed on the medals table at the 2022 NUGA games.
