Full List: Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, Rema, Others Shine at Maiden Trace Awards in Rwanda

Top Nigerian Music Stars including Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, Rema, Yemi Alade were among the top winners at the maiden edition of the Trace Awards, which was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on October 21, 2023.

The award ceremony is aimed at celebrating the creativity, talent, and influence of African and Afro-inspired music and artistes.

Rema secured the ‘Song of the Year’ category for the hit song ‘Calm Down’ while the ‘Best Global African Artiste’ was a tie between the Nigerian and Nomcebo.

Davido won the ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ categories while Burna Boy won ‘Album of the Year’.

The awards ceremony was hosted by D’Banj, the Nigerian singer, and Maria Borges, the Angolan global supermodel.
