The leadership of National Association of University Students, NAUS, through its Campus Monitoring Committee, CMC, Ogun State chapter has congratulated the newly elected National officials of the students’ group of their well-deserved victory in the just concluded election.
NAUS rejoiced with the new leaders in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman in Ogun, Comrade Adeyemi Boluwatife Opeyemi; the Secretary General, Comr. Talabi Adekunle Adeyanju and the publicity secretary, Comrade, Akowe Elisha Oluwadmilare.
The statement which was made available to Vreporters on Saturday partly read: “On behalf of Ogun state university students we say Congratulations to Comr. Meshach Anthony Nwankwo (MESH) on his well-deserved emergence as Deputy National President (National and Campus Affairs) of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) today, Saturday 28th September 2024, which held at FCT ABUJA. As a product of Ogun State, his achievement brings immense pride to Team Ogun State. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, senators, and comrades who supported us in making this victory possible.
“We also celebrate Comr. OGUNTADE Israel Omodolamu (FISH) on his emergence as NAUS National Senate President. His triumph brings joy and unity to the Southwest, demonstrating the power of collective support and love. NAUS Ogun CMC, led by Comr. Adeyemi Boluwatife Opeyemi (BOLEXIS), congratulates Comr. Oguntade on this remarkable achievement”.
The students’ leaders also felicitated Comr. TIAMIYU OLAYINKA IBRAHIM (PRINCIPLE) on his emergence as NAUS Southwest Vice President.
According to NAUS, This accomplishment showcases the unity and solidarity of the Southwest and this committee is proud of your achievement and pray for a successful regime under your astute leadership, it further prays to God Almighty to grant all the leaders the needed wherewithal to excel excellently in their respective offices.
