The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has confirmed full accreditations of two faculties and three departments in the institution almost two years after the National University Commission, NUC ‘revoked’ their accreditations.
The image maker of the institution, Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju made the disclosure in a statement released on Wednesday in the ancient city of Ife
The faculties, departments hammered by the NUC in 2018 were: Faculty of Dentistry, Law, department of fine arts, Botany, Family and nutrition.
According to the statement, five departments got interim accreditations, these are: Department of English, Dramatic Arts, Home Economics, Education History, Survey and Geo-informatics.
Olanrewaju, in a phone chat confirmed to Virtual Reporters that, all courses offered at the post graduate level got accredited.
